Chiang Mai Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) is a supported academic simulation of the proceedings within the United Nations, reconstructing discussions regarding global disputes in order for participating students to practice determining suitable resolutions in a diplomatic environment and to improve in skills such as research, debate and co-operation.

Moreover, modelling the varying UN organisations, this activity allows participants to develop their abilities to communicate both verbally and in formal writing, as well as to persuade and simultaneously compromise and resolve as a team; henceforth amplifying students' understanding of the international procedures required to reach peaceful global solutions.
